« on: September 04, 2010, 05:03:18 AM »
Hello

I am trying to do the following "Harddisk install using the Windows boot menu" http://www.plop.at/en/bootmanager.html#wininst

but after typing plpgenbtldr I get the following error:

How can I solve this?

My OS: Windows 7 Ultimate
Laptop: HP Pavilion zd8000

Thanks

I copied the file plpbt.bin to the plop folder and it worked but in the instructions it doesn't say that "plpbt.bin" needs to be copied there...

you are wrong. the instructions say

Code: [Select]
o) Create a directory like c:\plop. You can use any directory you want.

o) Copy plpinstc.com and plpgenbtldr.exe to your c:\plop directory.

o) Rename plpinstc.com to plpbt.bin.

plpinstc.com became plpbt.bin

Hello again.. I tried it once and it worked fine (the menu showed up) but today when I tried to use it, right after selecting Plop Boot Manager, I get the following: XO_ and the menu won't show up.

How can I fix this?

Thank You

did you move or change plpbt.bin in any way? run again plpgenbtldr in c:\plop to create a new plpbtldr.bin
