Hello,

I have an old pc (Aopen AX6B) with an VIA usb 2.0 card that can't boot from USB.

With the bootmanager V5.0.11 i can!
The only thing is ,when i cold boot and boot usb in plop the system hangs!
On the screen:

"Loading EHCI Driver
Searching on Hosts
Host 1"

Crtl-Alt-Del does not function.
Then I press the Reset button and then select usb I succesfully boot from usb.
If i first booted a floppy with usb support and then pressed reset or Crtl-Alt-Del then plop bootman is able too boot from USB too!

So I think there is something not ok with the init of the usb port

I dit try using an DaneElect 8G usb stick and a Emtec 4G stick both the same.
Started plop bootman from Grub and directly from flop, both the same.

Would be nice if this could be fixed?

Anyway Thanks for the verry nice bootmanager.

First boot usb plp freezes (klok) then reset

After reset button plp boots perfect.
(Both times there was "ra" in the left upper corner.)

That acts normal

Much bether now for my pc!!

With 4G EMTEC Cold boot
" PORT 1: DEVICE CONNECTED "

Then my pc hangs as before! (reset works)

Fasest way to boot that usb stick in EHCI mode =
Go in menu and select "USB1.1 FORCE MODE2"
Then use Ctrl-U and select SKIP (Booting with UHCI works now too).
Go in menu again and turn "USB1.1 FORCE OFF"
Then press U
"PORT 1: DEVICE CONNECTED

USB DISK 2.0
LOADING BOOT SECTOR"
Then boot=  OK!!

With 8G DANE-ELEC boot is now perfect

"PORT 1: DEVICE CONNECTED

USB FLASH MEMORY
LOADING BOOT SECTOR"
Then boot=  OK!!
