Hi,
I used to install previous versions (up to 5.0.10) of Plop Boot Manager on my old laptop to be able to boot on USB key as my bios doesn't allow that.
Today I tried to switch to 5.0.11 but the boot menu hang whenever I press a key (and the star field freezes also).
I tried in text mode but it is the same.
I tried with or without harddisk install (XP).
I re-install the 5.0.10 plpbt.bin and it works.
hi,
what do you see on the frozen screen?

On 5.0.11 , i see :

On the 5.0.10, I see the same except no Network item.
does it hang when you press the cursor down key?

Hang with cursor DOWN key and also any other key.
please try this test version http://download.plop.at/tmp/plpbt.bin

The background is a grid instead of a starfield.
But no luck, it is the same problem.
I tried with version 5.0.12 and same problem.
But if I configure plpbt.bin to boot directly on USB (hiddenusb=yes) then there is no menu and it works.
I also tried with the menu active and with several other options (like pcmciaskip) but it still hang when a key is pressed. So it looks like I have some problem with the menu of Plop Boot Manager.
