My config: Acer Travelmate 5730 with an e-sata interface and external hd(enermax enclosure) (working on linux and windows if i connect it after boot).
If i connect the external hd at boot time:
e-sata interface: BIOS is unable to see the external hd and cannot boot from it.
usb 2.0 interface: BIOS is able to see the external hd and to boot from it.
Now...
Let's try with plop...
I have installed plop boot manager on a usb key...
Plop boot manager starts correctly but even Plop cannot see e-sata interface.
There is a possible workaround?
Its possible to add a "driver" to plop to boot from esata?
Any suggestion?
