Title: Can I use Plop Boot Manager to install Linux on my old laptop?
Post by: vasia212 on July 21, 2010, 11:16:09 AM
Hi! I've got a Sony VIAO laptop with no USB boot option in BIOS (and CD Drive doesn't work too). I'd like to install Linux (Ubuntu, for example) to a free partition on internal HDD and to keep my WinXP alive but cann't boot from any media except internal HDD. Will Plop Boot Manager help me in this case? Can I install Plop Boot Manager from Windows just to start Linux installation from USB flash drive?

Thanks!
