Title: ICH4 USB2 hangs
Post by: Dan on October 04, 2010, 00:13:26 AM
Plop hangs when trying to boot from an ICH4 (Sandisk USB2 flash drive). However, if USB2 is disabled in the BIOS, then it works.

It also works from an NEC USB2 controller.

No. And it works with other USB devices. It's hard to read the messages because they fly by so fast - is there a way to pause before booting?

Tried another PC, this one ICH5: same hang. (Works if USB2 disabled in BIOS).

Tried using "force usb 1.1" plop option: works.
