Hello there,

I'm trying to use plop through grub on a pretty old laptop (Intel Celeron). So I followed the instructions and setup plop in grub. When I tried to boot it, it gave an error code "E17" and says that the partition is invalid or something.

What could cause such an error?

try to boot it with something "not grub" - is it work?
try old grub versions
