Title: Plop trouble
Post by: pikjira on August 02, 2010, 20:31:43 PM
Essentially, every time I boot from My Windows 7 partition using Plop, I can never access plop again without reinstalling it. Upon restarting the computer (after booting Windows seven) and booting from the hard drive (on which plop was installed), the screen either goes black with only the little white flashing text cursor in the top left hand corner, or simply loops back again and again to the bios. I can reinstall plop and have it work for one more boot, but then the process simply repeats itself.

I use option 1. I think the problem is that windows uninstalls plop when it boots (my OSX partition is apparently kewl with it). Out of wonder, where is plop installed on the hard drive, anyway?

plop is installed to the first 63 sectors of your hard disk.

Not quite; It's a dell Studio 15 which came with Win 7 installed; I only just installed OSX on a partition.
