BIOS does not support USB boot. Using plpbt-5.0.14 cd to boot usb. However, usb not recognized.
Tried it on another laptop, it recognized the usb but hung.
What can I do (step-by-step) to help you help me?
which os do you want to boot from usb?
Thanks @Elmar for replying.
The usb stick has Yumi (http://www.pendrivelinux.com/yumi-multiboot-usb-creator/) to boot SliTaz and PeppermintOS3.
FYI, the usb boots on other laptops. Tried the plpbt-5.0.14 cd on another laptop. It recognizes the usb, tries 2 ECHI ports then hangs.
when the plop boot manager cd hangs, then try the plopkexec cd
thanks, will give try it
gave it a run, checked the md5, ok, burned cd
cd boots with usb in usb port, then asks for a usb with linux
checked the logs
it identified and mounted the usb as vfat, then came back to the boot screen asking for a usb with linux
?next steps?
