Title: Driver removed - Boot error - No boot device found
Post by: Jorge on July 15, 2013, 02:42:21 AM
Hello Elmar.

I trying to use your great program to boot a Windows 7 machine from a USB stick.

I have a Linux CrunchBang ISO loaded on the stick, which is a FAT formatted 16GB Transcend.

I keep getting the following error:

Loading UHCI driver
Searching on hosts
driver removed
Loading OHCI driver
searching on hosts
host 1
host 2
host 3
driver removed

Boot error
No boot device found, please retry it

I have tried updating to your latest version 5.0.14 without luck. I have also tried the same ISO on a 2GB Kingston drive, no luck either.

Please help!

hi,

it looks like your computer has a 1.1 ohci usb controller. my driver does not find any device. i don't know why.

as alternative you could use plopKexec, but you have to create a custom syslinux.cfg file and you have to copy the kernel and initrd from the iso to a directory on the usb drive.
