Title: Idea: write executables in the floppy image
Post by: brittnib0 on June 26, 2024, 10:26:43 AM
Hi,

Since the floppy disk image has a fixed size, I suggest you add these files to the floppy disk image as there is enough space:

- /dos/pbm6-dos
- /linux/pbm6
- /windows/pbm6nt

Therefore, you can mount the same floppy from any OS and chainload to PLOP without writing the file to another storage.

In addition, you can rename the Linux binary and put all the files in the root directory of the floopy (pbm6-dos, pbm6-linux, pbm6nt, plus the current PBM6 file).

You like the idea?

This is probably also a good idea. I will try to do that and see how it goes.
