Title: USB Hub Support
Post by: Skizo on January 11, 2010, 19:39:44 PM
I already read that USB Hub is not currently supported (your words). Since I'm in a very tight situation with an antique server (I'll avoid the translation but it's kind of evident) I would like to know if the support is planned/doable, if there has been any work on it yet or, if not, if you need some coder/tester for it. I'm a programmer myself and I'd be glad to help you out if you're lacking time for hub support.

My current situation is a bootable floppy/cdrom, no USB support (from bios) and a single USB port, no hard disk and need of multiple USB ports, hence the hub. Cause it's not really a good idea to unmount on the fly a distro and remount it on the hub ;)

Well, if you need anything I'm here, looking for an early reply. Eventually if you know of any boot loaders which support usb hubs I'd be glad to hear.

Thanks in advance.
