Title: UBUNTU on USB
Post by: philpense on October 16, 2014, 09:21:13 AM
Have a vintage Toshiba Satellite notebook that does not boot to USB.  My goal was to use PLOP to gain this feature.  Thought that getting bootldr and the .bin file on my C: drive would get me. there.  Hoping for guidance from someone who has done this successfully.  Much thanks as I await a reply

This sounds like a solved problem, as far as I remember...
Please search the forum for "toshiba" because "sattelite" is written in too many different ways ;-)

HTH!
