Dear Elmar,
played around with plopkexec 1.4-test1. Works fine on a Wyse Thinclient SX0 S50.
But I was unable to use its timeout function, tried to boot the first/default entry after the timeout period.
Plopkexec always waits for keyboard input [return]...
Here is my /boot/plopkexec.cfg:
Quote
default tinycore_linux
timeout 10
label tinycore_linux
lernel /boot/vmlinuz
initrd /boot/core.gz
append level=3 cde showapps desktop=fluxbox kmap=qwertz/de-latin1
What am I doing wrong? Any ideas?
Hello,
what do you see in the log about timeout?
Best regards
Elmar
Note: I know that there is a typo in the timeout log.
There is no log entry concerning timeout...
Here are the important lines of the log:
Quote
[00014] New device sda1
[00015] Mounted /dev/sda1, vfat (ro)
[00016] Scanning /mnt/boot/plopkexec.cfg
[00017] KERNEL /mnt/boot/vmlinuz
[00018] INITRD /mnt/boot/core.gz
[00019] APPEND ...
[00020] ADD ENTRY (0|1) tinycore_linux
Please send me the plopkexec.cfg in a compressed file.
PlopKexec has been fixed and version 1.4-test2 is now available.
Best regards
Elmar
Works great. Thanks a lot!
