Title: Recover from BIOS update failure
Post by: Ginger Opariti on September 18, 2016, 11:37:29 AM
Hi,
I have discovered this Forum because I have a problem as per the subject. My HP ProBook 6555b worked fine for years and yesterday I did a BIOS upgrade. The process seemed Ok but when I turned on the computer, after shutdown, it didn't boot at all, with the Caps Lock led blinking. I've tried all kinds of so called solutions, the HP professionals all stay apart - seems this is a recurrent issue quite "popular".
How could I uses Plop to help me at least enter into the boot menu and set the computer on original settings. I can use USB and CD drives. Of course, any other solution to get into Windows is welcome.
Thanks!
