Title: just awesome
Post by: SunBlade on August 17, 2009, 11:29:08 AM
i tried out various bootmanager, but none gave me this superiority feeling ... till now :D

some statments you may want too add to the FAQ or manual, so users understand better what they are getting into:
- PLoP is not a good choice for beginners. (hex editing the partition table is too much for most users)
- PLoP (loader+program+config) installs in the whole first cylinder of your primary hard disk. (by standard most partitioners skip the first cylinder)

yes, hex editing the partition is only for advanced users. but i think this part is rarely used.
i think boot managers at all are not good for beginners.

yes, but those boot managers will not work if their partition is removed.
but you are right, i should leave a hint about the first cylinder installation. the "no extra partition needed" is maybe not enough.
