Title: PXE in Linux, but using bluetooth tech'
Post by: potchan on July 11, 2010, 23:24:35 PM
Hi Elmar & Team,

I own a not very new cellphone with a micro-SD card. I like that phone though it wouldn't allow me the "mass storage device" which could have enabled a wired boot of a Linux onSD via USB cable to my PC.

Nevertheless, my phone is bluetooth-enabled, so -

the question is: can I boot a bluetooth-enabled PC from a bluetooth-enabled cellphone ? ???

linux over bluetooth is possible, but you need to start the kernel on you phone. then the linux must be modified that it loads all files with obexftp to your phone. i would say, forget this idea.
