I'm trying to use PLoP to install Meego to an old Thinkpad x21. I have a base that sticks into a usb slot on the bottom of the laptop and has CD and floppy drives. selecting usb returns the following

DRIVER REMOVED

Then it states the obvious about not finding a device. The usb slots on the laptop are 1.1. The light in the drive does not flash, so i don't think it is being mounted. The same disk and flash drive combo works fine on another laptop (with usb 2.0 drives)

hi,
is there an usb hub between usb drive and usb port? if yes, usb hubs are not supported by 5.0.x
