I wasted a motherboards BIOS by updating it with the wrong version...
It's a 'asus p4p800s-e' thats written on the mainboard, the box I found later told me it was a p4p800s-e deluxe... so black screen beeps etc.

I have another board a 'asus p4b533e deluxe' which uses the same BIOS chip. I was able to flash it with its own BIOS firmware but not the p4p800s-e deluxe, so right now I have 2 identical BIOS chips with both the same firmware which both work on the p4b533e deluxe. I was not able to find a flash program to force flash the p4p800s-e deluxe BIOS  with the p4b533e deluxe board into the eeprom.

I tried 'flashrom in ubuntu 9.10 linux', and a lot of possible spy-ware dos disk BIOS programs. AFUDOS etc.
Flashrom in linux looks very easy but it only reads the BIOS propperly but it doesn't want to erase it so it does nothing.

I read on your website that you also offered BIOS help, do you happen to have any nice special software to force bios flashes? I was not able to find a version of Winflash which opened. Only Asus update but it won't flash a other motherboards BIOS into my eeprom.

BIOS force flashed successfully with uniflash2.0b05.zip!
http://www.rom.by/UniflashRE/uniflash2.0b05.zip

Make a dos boot disk put the exe file and the bios firmware rom on floppy and type unif2b05.

So this software makes it possible to flash wrong flashed BIOS chips from different boards on this motherboard.
