I want to boot from USB 3.0 in a Laptop (has not USB 3.0 native) I have a USB 3.0 express card with the chip NEC D720200F1(Conceptronic CUSB3EXC card).

I want to boot from a USB 2.0 with Plop boot manager and then boot from USB 3.0 express card.Is this posible?

In other post I'd read the xHCI support is under development. This is done?

Congratulations for your work. ;)

how can we help to move the process along?

a year ago someone posted this, as you might know and managed to get driver working
http://forums.fedoraforum.org/showthread.php?t=266293

Should we contact NEC-Chip/Driver developers for cooperation?
Latest drivers here: http://www.station-drivers.com/page/fresco_logic.htm for win7 inc. pdfs

when you want to boot a linux, then you can use plopkexec for usb 3.0. currently, i don't remember if i added the express card stuff, but its no problem to add that.
