Need to run this for win XP.

'Unable to find a version of the runtime to run this application.'

Please let me know which version of .net must I install?

Thanks.

Elmar

maybe you need the latest xp service pack. but plpcfgbtGUI is only a front end of plpcfgbt. this program is used to configure the plpbt.bin file. according to your previous thread i dont think that you need that.

Thank you Elmar.

I have XP Pro service pack 3. All updates installed.

I'm following a tutorial from rmprepusb explaining how to 'Add Plop to your grub4dos menu'. To > easily configure Plop to autoboot from USB one can also 'hard code' the plopbt.bin file using plpcfgbtGUI.exe'..< which in my case pops up the error.

Another method that has been suggested is,  that I burn plop to a CD, clone my XP image to the USB drive using USBoot which is  configured through rmprepusb (which I've already used to format and partition my USB). Then boot using plop CD, then connect USB and I'm on my USB > XP..

That, it seems is the simpler method.

Pls advise if this would work. Am quite stuck.

Thanks again.
