Thanks to your newsletter, I read under 'Plans' that the next boot mgr version is not under active development.
I had good experiences with Plop in the past and very recent, troubling experiences with UEFI on a modern laptop. Because of this, I want to give a solid +1 for ehBoot. This is something which is needed and lacking. Your old boot manager is slowly fading out from what I can see - after I sold my old stuff, I simply didn't need it any more. I am currently typing on a 2007 laptop - even this one is perfectly capable of USB booting.
Machines not capable of USB booting are going the way of the floppy disk right now. A decent UEFI bootloader, however, is desparately needed.
