selecting boot manager reboots laptop

Hi
I have installed plop boot manager to my windows 7 boot.ini (InstallToBootMenu.bat)
After reboot my laptop I am presented with the options of booting:
windows 7
boot manager
when I select boot manager I can see the boot manager dialog for half a second and then my laptop reboots
presenting me again with booting to
windows 7 and boot manager.
Any advise on how to fix this so that I can boot to my usb stick?
