Sitemap PHP - Scan Frequency - Always

I have newly installed the sitemap-1.0.php in my site-area & created a sitemap. The question is, I have edited the frequency as "always", then is it working as "always" or no?

I don't understand what you mean. You find information about the frequency field on http://www.sitemaps.org/protocol.html
