Hello,

I have tried to install Plop Boot Manager through the Grub 2 bootloader option, and it works well until I try to install the
Plop bootmanager itself.
The installation-software appears after I have choosed it in the Grub 2 menu and it works well. But when I choose to install the Plop bootmanager in the installation-software-menu, by pressing "1" and then "y", I get a error message.

The error message says:  "File for backup not found!"

What might be the problem? I did all the steps in the instructions.  I had to change the plpinstc.com entry in the Grub2 config to plpinst.com due to that the file had that name.   Should I put any other file from Plop into the boot directory?

I'm using Open Suse 13.1 on a Dell Lattitude D500.

You are using the wrong install program. You have to use plpinstc.com and not plpinst.com

I hope you installed Grub to the boot sector of your Linux and it is no longer in the MBR. If not, then Linux will not boot after you installed the Plop Boot Manager.
