I have a 80 gb hard drive and I have installed windows on it. I have installed another 250gb hard drive and it is working. I intend to partition it and install versions of Linux.

I could install a floppy disc reader on the computer as I have an old one.

What I do not understand is what is the advantage of installing PLOP to the hard drive, Plop to windows or to use the floppy?

hi,

a few advantages of the install version are:

  • save settings
  • creating profiles
  • using more than max 4 primary partitions on a hard disk
