Hi,

the ebox3000mx still makes problems as the audio device can not be recognised. the manuel says "internal audio" so I don't know what kind it is and pcimodules outputs nothing (/proc/asound/devices says no device).

the good thing that came out of this process is I will try to convert my terminals to 4.1 version :)

please post the output files of
lspci > lspci.txt
lsmod > lsmod.txt
dmesg > dmesg.txt
as attachment after you started pciprobe

ok, will do that.

btw: in 4.1.1 and 4.1 the numeric keypad is not functioning with rdesktop.
it works well in 3.8.4.

dmesg don't say nothing about sound at all.
pciprobe is not helping cos pcimodules turns empty.

well to me it looks like a dead end but you have done things with less ...
