Hello,

I am running Windows XP. I opened plpbt.img with WinImage and wrote the plpbt.bin into A:\ . I formated my usb stick in fat32, placed Linux Mint on it and restarted my pc. At boot screen, i selected to boot from floppy, it booted, it showed me the plop menu, i selected USB and it freezed. What seems to be the problem ?

Elmar

what do see when it freezes?

there's something wierd.

after it freezes, i restart my pc to get over it, i boot into windows and i check the stick's status. it's not accessible, it has all the space unallocated and it's filesystem is RAW. why ?

@ elmar : when i choose USB, it appears a box and nothing more. i searched youtube and i saw that it supposed to print out some text and then it boots, but not for me.

le : i also posted my problem here : http://www.boot-land.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=13324

le 2 : i did the process again but didn't help. i pressed U, it toggled to USB, a box appeared and it freezed ( can't change to other boot methods and nothings prints out; the moving stars background didn't freeze, the stars move  ). this time i can access my stick from windows, i doesent say anymore ' not accessible '.

le 3 : i have the same problem : http://forum.plop.at/index.php/topic,489.0.html

thanks.
