I can't boot from usb with the Fujitsu Siemens Futro S400 and Plop 5.0.11. If I select USB boot the boot message window inside plop opens, but instead of the regular messages that it's loading the ehci, uhci, ohci driver in order, there are no messages at all, the mesage window is empty, and nothing seems to happen.

Why does this happen? Is it because it's using an internal usb hub which is not supported? Or is the usb controller not supported?

My goal is to boot from an usb pendrive which this bios doesn't support. It only supports usb hdd (and usb cd and usb fdd). So I'm running Plop from a usb hdd, but it can't boot from usb so it doesn't work.

Here's some information about the Futro S400 where users have installed additional usb ports and a sata controller http://openrouter.info/forum/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=157. But no one have been able to boot from a usb stick on it.
