Failover to second option?

I'm messing around with getting plop boot manager to automatically boot to an OS on my HDD.  I'm trying to figure out how to get it to failover (without user intervention) to booting to a second HDD if the first one fails to load or the HDD is dead.  I have plop installed on a flash drive.  Is this possible to do with plop?
