Title: Impossible to startx automatically
Post by: bluelagoon45 on April 04, 2011, 14:31:38 PM
Hi,

I am using the 4.1.0 Ploplinux version. I've uncommented the "autostartx" from the rc.local file. But it was unsuccessfull. I still got a message from tty1, telling me that to start GNOME, you should enter "startx". From the command line, "startx" works nicely, but not automatically when booting ploplinux up.
Is there any problem with "autostartx" file?

Thx for your help
Fabian

hi,
yes there is a problem.

solution:
you take the autostartx from the 4.1.1 test version
you wait for the next release which should come soon

best regards
elmar
