Title: rdesktop missing from Plop Linux 4.2.2
Post by: prof_booty on December 04, 2013, 21:59:06 PM
Hi: I've downloaded and successfully configured this version 4.2.2 for PXE boot over Samba; I've noticed that rdesktop seems to have been removed from this version. I'd like to add it in, can I do it in a similar way as adding OpenOffice?

My next idea was to install it manually and have some sort of runme script install it a runtime, but GCC isn't included either. Looks like I'm going to have to move to a new distribution; it's too bad I really liked Plop. Thanks for this work and I'll check in on new versions to see if rdesktop is included.

when you are familiar with gcc, then run the developer version of plop linux (not the live cd) and compile your programs with "configure --prefix=/opt && make && make install" or use "myxconfigure". then create a new opt.sqfs.
