Title: Overextend and Volume Header Files
Post by: mitlisp on February 17, 2017, 18:50:08 PM
Are the Volume Header and Extents Overflow hex files located in hardware's root directory as hidden system files?  If so, can I manually input that data into HFSPRescue because it seems it is having a hard time locating the right sectors for some reason

Background info: I have a partial backup of my hard drive taken a little before my files got messed up but not at the actual time of the event. That partial backup included some hidden files on the root that has in its names extent* and *volume*.

Usually, both files are not accessible like other files. But when you have them, you can use them with --vh-file and --eof-file
